Red Devil pride filled the gymnasium at Avon Park High School as generations of students passed through the doors on Thursday night to reflect on memories from the past 100 years at the school.
One by one, the visitors arrived. Each one in awe of the sight before them and then slowly moving to the left where four posters for each decade hung on the folded bleachers. They looked closely in hopes of recognizing someone they once went to school with back in the day. Some moved to the posters of the decade they attended Avon Park High School.
Everyone who entered the gym left the 100th anniversary celebration with a little more history of the school and their heart full of nostalgia.
It truly was a Night of 100 Stars.
